A Thousand Homes

I painted this series of 'A Thousand Homes' as a meditative process, repeating the act of painting one house after another, without striving for perfection. Layer upon layer, each home slowly emerged, its windows touched with gold or silver. In winter, snow rests gently upon the rooftops and trees; in summer, the houses are surrounded by flourishing greenery and plants. Through this repetition, the familiar becomes contemplative—a quiet study of home, season, and time.
