Brainchild is about the birth of an idea. The indescribable moment when a thought emerges. For me, this moment is often result of exposure to other artists work, inspiration that comes from the labour of many hands. Art is not created in a vacuum, be see, process and rework the world around us. I want to acknowledge this process, the child that is born from my mind, but only brought to light by many hands.

Hanna Dierks is a self-taught artist currently based in Malmö, Sweden. She works in a variety of mediums but currently focusses on collage.
Her themes revolve around female identity and experience, creativity, the interplay of body and mind, and the search for beauty.
