Inspired by the freedom of Matisses cut-outs, this work explores the space between painting and object. Folded and layered cardboard interrupts the image, allowing the material itself to become part of the composition.
Simplified flowers and leaves emerge through bold colour relationships and tactile surfaces, balancing decorative playfulness with visible process. Rather than concealing imperfections, the work embraces construction, gesture and the quiet poetry of making something from ordinary materials.

Jag har aldrig riktigt varit intresserad av att definiera mig genom en stil eller ett uttryck.
Jag följer intuition, rörelse, färg och det som uppstår i mötet mellan känsla, minne och material.
Jag arbetar främst med oljepastell, oil sticks, mixed media och abstrakta former — där processen får vara lika viktig som resultatet.
