Annan
74 x 74 x 4 cm
Original 3D mixed media collage artwork created from vintage botanical and floral imagery sourced from the pages of antique garden books and archival horticultural publications.
Each floral fragment is carefully selected for its colour, texture and form, hand-bonded onto wood, and laser cut into individual circular elements. The dots are then arranged into a mathematically precise geometric composition, creating a structured field of colour that shifts gradually across the surface like a cultivated garden in bloom.
Mounted on white gesso board, the work balances delicate organic imagery with repetition, order and rhythm. Every dot has a subtle three-dimensional quality, giving the surface depth and movement as light changes across the piece.
70 x 70 cm
Framed in a white box frame
Ready to hang
Protected with museum-quality UV perspex glazing to help prevent fading and allow for safe worldwide shipping.

Amelia Coward is a Kent based artist best known for her explorations into mixing, blending and grading colours.
1st class honours from
Having received training based upon the colour theory teachings of Josef Albers, Amelia creates artworks that focus on the interaction of colours. Her works are carefully composed studies of spacial balance between geometric coloured elements such as circles and stripes. Influenced heavily by her woven textile training she uses laser cutters much the same way as she was trained to use a loom, cutting geometric shapes then reassembling them in patchwork compositions. Her works move dramatically from highly detailed dot pieces containing sometimes 1000’s of raised hand-painted dots to large scale striped pieces comprised of contrasting scales and bold clashing colours.
