Det här verket är baserat på en av mina favoritkatter, Luna. Jag avgudar svarta katter och är lycklig nog att regelbundet få umgås med några vackra sådana katter i mitt liv. Att återge den svarta kattens tidlösa, nästan gudomliga elegans är så klart en svår, nästan omöjlig, uppgift. Luna/Queen of Egypt är dock ett försök att ge sig på just det. Verket är gjort i kol och vattenfärg på överbliven tapetstump.

This piece is based on one of my favorite cats, Luna. I adore black cats and am fortunate enough to regularly spend time with some beautiful ones in my life. Capturing the timeless, almost divine elegance of a black cat is a difficult, nearly impossible task, but Luna/Queen of Egypt is an attempt to tackle just that. The artwork is created with charcoal and watercolor on a leftover scrap of wallpaper, where the deep black of the charcoal and the natural texture of the wallpaper interplay to capture her majestic essence.

I'm a multidisciplinary creator working with photography, acrylics, watercolour, charcoal and graphite. I've spent my life moving fluidly between visual art and writing, and today I embrace that mix fully: my work is intuitive and playful, driven by curiosity rather than rules.
In my paintings, colourful birds, animals and spiritual motifs often emerge. During 2026, I have also heavily increased my experiments with more abstract expressions. Abstract art is something I have really come to enjoy and will continue to explore further in my work. As a photographer, I am drawn to architecture, cityscapes, animals and nature, exploring both deep black and white and vivid colour.
