Malin Strandvall
Född: 1986
I'm a multidisciplinary creator working with photography, acrylics, watercolour, charcoal and graphite. I've spent my life moving fluidly between visual art and writing, and today I embrace that mix fully: my work is intuitive and playful, driven by curiosity rather than rules.
In my paintings, colourful birds, animals and spiritual motifs often emerge. During 2026, I have also heavily increased my experiments with more abstract expressions. Abstract art is something I have really come to enjoy and will continue to explore further in my work. As a photographer, I am drawn to architecture, cityscapes, animals and nature, exploring both deep black and white and vivid colour.

Several new artworks in my gallery: August and September brought me lots of unexpected inspiration and creativity! Thus, my gallery is now updated with several new acrylic artworks. There has been birds (as always, cannot seem to get rid of them anytime soon) asking to be portraited on paper. But there has also been, not so gentle, nudges to just let go of control, the known and instead allow for much more abstract expressions and exploring that scene. So that is exactly what I have been doing then, exploring. And you are most welcome to continue that journey with me - please, make yourself comfortable and enjoy my autumn 2026 additions :)
