She dances with longing, dreaming of the day she can move freely beneath the tower, without fear or restraint.
The red dress is a symbol of the blood of all the young people who were murdered on the path toward freedom.
Her dance carries their memory, their courage, and the promise that their sacrifice will not forgotten.
The tower is about 45 metres (148 ft) tall and is completely clad in cut marble.It was commissioned by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last Shah of Iran, to mark the 2,500-year celebration of the Persian Empire and was completed in 1971.

Som konstnär utforskar jag frihetens djup genom semiabstrakta verk. Min konst är en personlig resa, där varje målning fångar min längtan efter frihet och självständighet, influerad av min bakgrund i Iran.
Jag använder färger som vibrerar av energi och liv, vilket skapar en rogivande atmosfär och inbjuder betraktaren att reflektera. Mina verk är inte bara visuella; de är känslomässiga berättelser som bjuder in till en dialog om det som förenar oss och det som befriar oss.
Genom min konst hoppas jag förmedla en känsla av hopp och inspiration, och ge röst åt den strävan som finns inom oss alla.
