Jeanette Ringwall
Essence of a woman IIII, 2025
Blandteknik
50 x 100 x 3,5 cm
4 900 kr
This is one of four paintings in this size and they are all celebrating the female soul, mind and energy, and all four have a poem along with it, to help to complete the essence of each painting.
All four paintings are mixed media on cotton canvas. To create structure I have used handcrafted Lokta paper from Nepal and acrylic paint is of artist quality.
"The essence of a woman is equality; not as crown to wear
but hands held high, a will to care
The essence of a woman is to rise, not to conquer men,
but to stand up, whole again
For in the essence of a woman the world can see,
what freedom truly means to be"

Hemmeslöv
Jeanette Ringwall is a Swedish artist based on the southwest coast of Sweden.
Working primarily with acrylic and mixed media, her painting moves between abstraction and recognizable forms.
Her work develops through an intuitive process of layering, erasure and revision. Forms emerge, shift and sometimes disappear again, while traces of earlier stages are allowed to remain visible. Open areas and unfinished passages often become as important as the more defined elements of the painting.
Rather than fixing the image to a single interpretation, Ringwall is interested in the point where something can still be recognized without being fully defined, leaving space for the viewer’s own associations.
Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Sweden and internationally.
