My latest drawing is a tribute to Matt Healey’s wonderful melancholy clown character from The 1975s video for their single ”A Change Of Heart” directed by Tim Mattia.

According to what I have found written by Matt Healy himself, the clown was created with inspiration from Michael Jackson, Gene Kelly, Charlie Chaplin and Bob Fosse.

I have used an A3 sized paper and mixed color material. Aquarelle for the larger dark areas such as a black base for his jacket. And for the hair, eyes and lace details I’ve used a 0,2 mm and a 0,6 mm fineliner ink pen. And to add some shine to his eyes, hair, tie and lace on the jacket I used a silver metallic ink pen.
