Martina Jordan

Martina Jordan is a multidisciplinary artist of visual art, music and movement. Her work evolves from an act of listening as a basis for musical and relational interaction and comprises artistic projects as well as assignments in music and movement in Sweden and abroad.

In her visual artistry Martina uses photography and digital painting in a process that often brings about unforeseen juxtapositions and artistic choices. The result is visual worlds between abstract and representational, where human and nature interact. Martina's background as a musician, focusing on rhythm and movement, influences her visual art where methods of improvisation and choreographic grasps of spatiality are central. Martina is a member of Swedish Artists' Association and has been represented by several galleries.
