Alyona Siergieieva - Designfull Art
The Mirror, 2026
Akryl
50 x 70 x 4 cm
5 000 kr
The Mirror explores the distance between how we appear and what we discover when we look deeper.
A mountain rises above still water, seemingly reflected below. Yet the reflection is not quite the same. Within it, the familiar form opens into a passage — revealing a space that cannot be seen from the surface.
The work reflects on self-discovery as something beyond simply seeing ourselves clearly. Sometimes, looking inward reveals what was invisible from the outside: hidden paths, unexplored spaces, and parts of ourselves we have yet to enter.
The reflection is not an answer. It is an invitation to go deeper.
