The womanour familiar Pinaywears a striped Filipiñana-inspired dress and carries a bouquet of Caladium leaves, their vibrant colors echoing the tropics she calls home. Above the bouquet perches a Bluetailed Beeeater, offering a tiny flower despite being a known hunter of bees.
Together, they form a moment that feels intimate and unguarded, as if she has been caught midstride on her way to an event. Her surprised sulyapthat fleeting, sideways glancesuggests she is unaware that this quiet instant of grace has just been captured.

Jag är arkitekt och kommer från Filippinerna. Jag har bott i Hongkong i 23 år. Jag flyttade till Stockholm 2016 med min svenska man och son.
Nu har jag börjat att måla igen. Att måla ger mig glädje och denna vill jag dela med mig av.
Jag gillar att skildra samhället och livet, vilket jag vill visa i mina målningar.
I am an architect from the Philippines. I have lived & worked in Hong Kong for 23 years. In 2016 I moved to Stockholm, Sweden with my Swedish husband and son.
Now I have started painting again. Painting relaxes me & gives me a lot of joy which I would like to share.
I like to to create snapshots of society & life in general, which is evident in my pieces.
