Weiwei Yue is a Stockholm-based artist working primarily in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. 

Born in 1981, her artistic practice has accompanied her since early childhood, developing across decades lived in several cultural contexts, including Sweden and Asia. 

Her work moves fluidly between figuration and abstraction. They are often anchored in an emotion from a fleeing moment. Weiwei is intrigued by the balance between what is seen and what is felt - where memory, perception and imagination mingle and merge. 

Working through an intuitive process, Weiwei allows the luminosity and movement of color to guide each painting. Often inspired by nature and water, her paintings unfold as contemplative spaces that invite viewers to stillness, reflection, and introspection.
