Beach in Space is inspired by Gran Canaria’s shimmering lava beaches and the vastness of space. Created on acid-free Arches cold-pressed watercolour paper with torn edges for a raw, more expressive look.
The artwork can be displayed either vertically or horizontally, making it easy to adapt to different spaces and interiors. Ideally presented in a floating frame without a mat, allowing the natural edges of the paper to become part of the artwork.

In addition to Space Art and Punto a Punto, Marika also creates marine-inspired art, drawing inspiration from the forms and colours of the coastline and the distinctive light by the sea.
