Found myself very inspired by Chinese and Japanese brush painting, and this watercolour came in to being. Despite it portraying a peaceful natural setting, I call it Growing wild.

I was thinking about those young bamboo on their way to just shoot off towards the sky, not paying mind to being surrounded by tall grass.

It felt meaningful to me, thinking about my kids and how they grow so quickly but also to how to give light and space to new ideas and perspectives and let it flourish. A pleasant springtime feeling.
