I create art inspiered from my Associative synesthesia. Mainly abstract arts in acrylic but also mixed media and sculpting.
So what is Associative synesthesia?
Associative synesthesia is a term that stemms from the perception of colors and shapes that occurs when listening to music or hearing other sounds.
There are two forms of synesthesia were the I one I have is Associative synesthesia and the other form av synesthesia are Projective synesthesia.
Are Associative synesthesia and Projective synesthesia the same thing?
The short answer is Yes, the difference lies in how the participant interpret the music experiences into colors and shapes. In Associative synesthesia, the person experiences colors and shapes through their "inner eye" and feelings, while in Projective synesthesia, the person experiences color and shape with their physical eye, although the very idea of synesthesia originates from the same place.
