Hannah Karlsson
Malmö
Hannah is a Malmö-based abstract artist and music producer working in mixed media.
Her paintings move between stillness and disruption, built through layered surfaces where soft, atmospheric fields are interrupted by raw gestures and subtle fractures. The works hold a sense of suspension—like fragments of memory or shifting emotional states.
Sound is embedded in her process as a structuring force, shaping rhythm, pacing, and atmosphere within the work. As a music producer, she works across electronic and atmospheric sound, informing the emotional tone of her practice. Her work also extends into film, with on-screen appearances in upcoming Swedish film productions.
