“Echoes Beneath the Surface” explores the quiet dialogue between what is seen and what is felt. Layers of texture and time-worn markings evoke forgotten languages, ancient maps, and hidden knowledge embedded within the earth. The central geometric form acts as a point of alignment—a symbol of balance, energy, and connection across dimensions. The ruby-like accents introduce a pulse of life and intention, symbolising vitality, protection, and the enduring fire within. Cracks and weathered surfaces reveal that beauty is not in perfection, but in endurance.
This piece invites the viewer to pause, to look deeper, and to uncover the silent stories that lie beneath the surface of both the artwork and themselves.

Christina Davidsson

Christina Davidsson is a Swedish-born artist now based in Brisbane, Australia. Her artistic journey began during the challenging days of the Covid-19 pandemic, when she turned isolation into inspiration and discovered her passion for painting. What started as a personal exploration soon evolved into a deep and fulfilling creative path.
Through art, Christina found a way to express emotions that words could not capture — exploring new horizons, breaking barriers, and rediscovering her inner voice. Her paintings reflect a balance between strength and sensitivity, where colour, texture, and movement intertwine to evoke both serenity and depth.
Inspired by the sea, nature, and the rhythm of life itself, Christina creates mixed media artworks that invite the viewer into a world of emotion and reflection. Each piece is an intimate dialogue between feeling and form, capturing fleeting moments of transformation and beauty.
Her work often mirrors her own life journey — one of resilience, growth, and renewal. It carries a message of hope and self-discovery: a reminder that it’s never too late to follow your passion, embrace change, and let your true essence shine. Through her art, Christina invites others to connect with their own inner strength and to find harmony in the ever-changing flow of life.
