Mitt konstnärskap bygger på realism, närvaro och andlig fördjupning. Jag arbetar främst i svartvitt, där ljus och skugga får bära känslan och ge teckningarna ett tidlöst uttryck. Genom noggrant tecnade detaljer och ett starkt fokus på ansiktsuttryck strävar jag efter att förmedla både inre styrka och svaghet.
Många av mina verk inspireras av den etiopisk-ortodoxa traditionen, där symbolik, tro och Guds härlighet är återkommande teman. Det vita representerar helighet och andlig renhet, medan kontraster och skuggor speglar människans kamp och djup.
Varje teckning är skapad med tålamod och precision. Jag vill att betraktaren ska känna närvaro och respekt från många av mina konstverk.
