The series Structures of Life invites the viewer into a quiet, contemplative world of lines, veins, and
shadows. Its point of departure is the leaf – a familiar element of nature that here becomes a symbol
of vitality. Through precise graphic techniques and a restrained palette, the artist transforms the leaf
into a poetic metaphor for growth, transformation, and transience.
In each work, observation and abstraction merge. The delicate leaf veins recall maps, river systems,
or neural networks, opening a space between natural formation and human construction, between
organic life and technological structure.
The series unfolds a subtle tension: it appears scientifically exact and emotionally resonant at once.
Its cool hues, fine linearity, and floating compositions create an atmosphere of stillness and focus.
Structures of Life is more than a depiction of nature – it is a visual meditation on order, movement,
and the invisible network that connects all living things.

Born 1959 and raised in Vercelli (Italy), I produce images since 1975, mostly pic-
tures and graphics.
I lived in Vercelli, Italy, Berlin and Bad Hersfeld, Germany. Since 2015 I live in south Sweden.
Since 2009 I'm active as a full-time media artist, with paintings, photographs, vi-
deo, digital art, sculptures. Sometimes I write lyrics.
Between 1978 and 85 I had a cooperation with the magazines "The Dark Side" and "Circolo Pickwick", I was also co-founder by the project of the magazine "Mixed" and directed the art-zine "Audax".
Since 1987 began my collaboration with Studio Dieci, for which I was active as rapporteur on image processing.
Since 1978 I am interested in computer graphics.
