This painting is inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi the art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Instead of concealing the cracks, Kintsugi celebrates them, transforming what was once broken into something more precious.
Golden Scars reflects on the invisible marks we all carry: the falls, the losses, the moments of breaking and rising again. These experiences are not signs of weakness, but golden veins running through our stories shaping us into stronger, wiser, more resilient beings.
Just as light finds its way through the cracks, this work invites us to see beauty in imperfection, and to recognize that our scars are not an ending, but the beginning of something more whole and true.

Mitt konstnärskap är en process av reflektion och transformation.
Genom figurativ målning utforskar jag teman som självupptäckt, inre styrka och människans djupare erfarenheter. Jag ser livet som sammanlänkat och tror att varje upplevelse både utmanande och vacker bär på mening och bidrar till personlig utveckling.
Målningen blir ett sätt att omvandla reflektioner till visuella uttryck. Jag dras till rummet mellan sårbarhet och styrka, där något nytt kan uppstå, och skapar verk som inbjuder betraktaren att reflektera, återknyta till sig själv och hitta tillit till den egna vägen även i osäkerhet.
