Ever since I was a child, Ive been deeply inspired by the imagery of the Wild West - the movies, the stories, even the videogames. Creating this artwork became not only a technical challenge, but also a personal tribute to the spirit of survival that shaped these remarkable creatures, and to the fascination with the Wild West that has inspired me since childhood.

The thought behind Survivors comes from the remarkable histories of the bison and the horse in North America. The bison, once reduced to the edge of extinction, stands as one of the greatest recovery stories in American wildlife. The horse, whose ancient ancestors evolved on this continent before vanishing thousands of years ago, later returned and became inseparable from the land and the cultures that thrived here. Their journeys are different, yet deeply connected. Both marked by resilience, loss, return, and endurance. It is not just a title, but a truth I wanted to honor: these animals embody survival in the face of disappearance, and their presence today carries both history and hope.

Animals have always been a central part of my life and creative journey, shaping the way I see the world and inspiring my work. Through my art, I hope to remind people that there is something deeper in the way animals exist than we often understand, something we can still learn from, if we choose to stop and truly see it.

As a self-taught graphite artist based in Sweden, I create highly detailed animal drawings that blend realism with storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional depth.

Through graphite, I focus on capturing not only physical detail, but also presence and personality. Rather than portraying animals as simple subjects, I approach them as living beings with their own spirit and unspoken story. Many of my works reflect human experiences through the symbolism of animals, inviting viewers to slow down, reflect, and connect with something both wild and deeply familiar.

I welcome inquiries in both English and Swedish.
