In the forest’s stillness, light falls like a veil through the clearing.
The mist moves softly, as if something ancient watches in silence.
Disar captures the moment when nature breathes and something timeless reveals itself.
The title Disar refers to protective female spirits in Norse mythology — silent watchers, often associated with mist, destiny, and light moving through the forest.

I am an artist living in the Stockholm archipelago, where nature is my greatest source of inspiration. I seek beauty in the smallest details and live a mindful life guided by empathy for all living beings. My art reflects this — full of subtle details waiting to be discovered.
My journey into painting began through deep sorrow after a a great loss and it became a way for me to breath again. Years later and I still love to express myself trough my art and to see people moved by my work is the greatest gift I could not see coming. If you feel something when you see my work, then I am grateful to have found another soul whose heartbeat resonates with mine.
I paint abstract works, often with landscapes reappearing as a theme. For a long time, I searched for “my thing” — something I could return to again and again. But with an active, easily restless mind, I shift mediums, canvases, and styles as often as others might change clothes. Today, I have learned to embrace this way of creating, allowing it to become my true artistic voice.
