This piece was inspired by the textures and layers found in nature and urban landscapes. I wanted to capture the feeling of surfaces that have history — walls that hold memories, or landscapes shaped by time and weather.

I hope viewers are drawn to the tactile quality of the work and feel a sense of curiosity. The uneven textures invite them to look closer, to reflect on how beauty often lies in imperfections, depth, and contrast.

I chose acrylic and paste because they allow me to build up layers and create dimension that feels almost sculptural. The paste brings a physical presence to the surface, while the acrylic paint lets me play with color and transparency. Together, they let me explore both strength and delicacy in the same piece.
