I paint because it helps me hear what is going on inside me and to share it with others.
As a child I had no art lessons, but later I was able to study at an art school in Sweden. That training gave me solid tools, yet my main guide is still my own curiosity.

When I stand in front of a painting, I look for simple ways to show feeling through color, line, and movement. I enjoy letting the work grow step by step, without forcing it. Some days the paint moves quickly, other days it asks me to wait. Either way, the process keeps me honest and imaginative.

My wish is that each masterpiece offers viewers a small pause, a moment to sense something new or familiar inside themselves. If the painting does that, it has done its reflection to the heart of the beholders.

I am grateful to everyone who takes the time to look at my work. Your attention completes the conversation I begin with each brush stroke, and it encourages me to keep creating.
