I like to call myself a creative explorer, and I use a variety of art forms to investigate, express, and stimulate reflection. Originally trained as a classical musician in New York City, I had a parallel thirst for pen and paper from an early age. In the 1980s and 90s, I worked as a graphic designer and a freelance musician in New York and Florida. In later years I pursued a Ph.D. and am now Professor in Quality Management in Sweden, where I work with, among other things, arts-based innovative practices in business.

My primary medium is digital, which I adopted a few years ago when I transitioned from painting on canvas to make it easier to carry my "canvas" with me when I travel. Using a digital medium opens new doors and challenges the mind to find new ways to create the experience of painting on canvas.

All artwork is original. Some of the pieces incorporate traditional painting techniques using digital brushes, while others are generated through a layered process using vector image bending techniques, during which the images emerge. No matter the design, everything is created from the freedom of spirit that lies within.
