Mixed media on paper, framed with passepartout and walnut wooden frame, no glass.

“Layers of Town” is an abstract exploration of urban memory and movement. Through bold color blocks, gestural lines, and layered textures, the piece captures the emotional complexity of a cityscape—not as it appears, but as it’s experienced.

Hints of architectural forms emerge and dissolve among sweeping strokes of red, cobalt, and charcoal, suggesting fragments of buildings, roads, and everyday moments. The use of overlapping shapes and intersecting lines creates a sense of depth, like the strata of history embedded in the walls and streets of a town.

Simultaneously vibrant and introspective, Layers of Town reflects the pulse of city life—its chaos, its beauty, and the quiet stories that live between the noise.

I am a Lithuanian-Swedish artist based in Stockholm, creating abstract, emotionally driven works that explore inner experiences, transformation, and the stories we carry. While many of my pieces have a narrative foundation, they remain open for interpretation, inviting viewers to connect through their own perspectives.
I create using a variety of media, including acrylic, watercolor, ink, coal, working on both paper and canvas, embracing experimentation and the interplay between structure and fluidity. Rather than focusing on technical precision, I prioritize expression, mood, and the visual impact of a piece—letting intuition guide the process.
My art is a dialogue between feeling and form, the seen and the sensed, always in motion.
