Thankyou so much for participating, drawing a breastfeeding frenchie has been my dream scince the beginning of this project.
Q. Breastfeeding for the first time I feel like is not talked about in all aspects enough
(all female body things like pregnancy really)
Tell me about your expierience.
A: I feel like the midwives told me what to expect with breastfeeding at all the prior appointments and shortly after giving birth we went through the different positions with the baby. I was eager to know as much as possible and followed a bunch of IG accounts about childbirth and breastfeeding but also asked a lot of questions. I don't really remember much about it being so sore the first weeks and the uncontrollable leakage(!) and even the last weeks (1,5 year old) when she could latch on and refuse to release them. They paint this picture of it being so great and only having benefits unless you unluckily get an infection but it definitely isn't all rainbows.
Q. How would you describe your relationship to your body?
A: Answering the next question kind of continues with the last. You have to live in this state of symbiosis where someone else will decide when you need to whip them out and they reach in and grab them when they feel like it, even if they're not hungry, just to touch them for comfort.
Q. How has the process of participating been for you?
A: Participating has been great as i've definitely accepted my body (breasts) as having the function of feeding and comforting my child rather than anything else!

Jag har en väldigt blandad stil, jag hoppar mellan alla olika material och tekniker. Har tidigare bara visat upp och sålt min konst via Instagram, efter många års motvilja att varken visa eller sälja.
Nu jobbar jag aktivt med ett konstprojekt som heter "Draw me like a french girl" där jag låter främlingar och Instagram följare skicka nakenbilder till mej som jag ritar eller målar av. Den enda friheten jag själv har i detta projekt ät hur jag väljer att göra porträttet. Och det var hela syftet för mej, att begränsa min egen kontroll. Det finns några viktiga regler kring deltagare och mej som jag är väldigt strikt med.
1. Bilden måste tas nu för mej att avbilda och sedan raderas.
2. Inga gamla foton där deltagare känner sej snyggare tillexempel.
3. Jag ritar det jag får, jag guidar inte deltagaren i hur jag vill ha bilden eller ber dom ta om och ta en skarpare bild osv. Är en hand inte helt med i fotot så ritar jag en avkapad hand.
4. Jag ritar bara hud. Jag startade projektet för att gå tillbaka till det jag fann kravlös glädje i att rita
5. Deltagarna måste ge skriftligt samtycke 3 olika gånger under processen.
6. Deltagare måste svara på 3 frågor i slutet.
Det jag tycker är så intressant i hur detta projekt växer fram i sin helhet är hur människor väljer att visa upp sej själva och skälen till varför som dyker upp under processen då jag lär känna den jag avbildar. Det finns en skillnad som blir tydlig mellan män och kvinnor. Det finns även ett stort tomrum av diversitet än så länge.
Detta konstprojekt är ett livslångt projekt jag alltid kommer utöka och växa tillsammans med. Men det kommer vara mitt livslånga projekt. Något som har betytt mer för mej än något annat i livet någonsin gjort de 5 senaste åren. Det är mitt syfte med livet.

Jobbar för att samla ihop verk till en utställning nån gång i framtiden för mitt konstprojekt "Draw me like a French girl" även kallat mina Frenchies.
