Alena Zabolotina is a contemporary artist who uses photography, video, 3D in her artistic practice. Her work explores the nature of man, contrasting nature with the new realities of global extinction. The working methods imitate many different views through which we can look at the problem: the eye of a person or an animal, a camera or a smartphone, a lidar, or a thermal imager.

Alena received a master's degree in universal history. The theme of the dissertation is addressed to the study of the aspect of color in photojournalism of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
Alena was born in Kazakhstan, lived in Russia and Georgia for a long time. Since 2023 lived in Sweden.
