Jag heter Thomas Nowobilski och har alltid fascinerats av hur stål – kallt och oböjligt – kan förvandlas till något levande. Jag smider, svetsar och skapar skulpturer som föds ur fantasin och ofta får formen av varelser eller strukturer som inte finns i naturen. Jag gillar att arbeta med skrot och återvunnet stål, att ge gamla material en ny mening och ett nytt liv. I min konst handlar det om dialogen mellan det tunga och beständiga, och det flyktiga och fantasifulla.

My name is Thomas Nowobilski, and I have always been fascinated by how steel – cold and unyielding – can be transformed into something full of life. I forge, weld, and shape sculptures born from imagination, often taking the form of creatures or structures that don’t exist in nature. I enjoy working with scrap and reclaimed steel, giving old materials a new meaning and a second life. My art is about the dialogue between what is heavy and permanent, and what is fleeting and imaginative.
