This one I painted - just because.....
But then I discovered that the Amaryllis, with its vibrant hues an elegant form, has long been regarded as a flower that embodies not only aesthetic appeal, but also profound emotional significance.

the strength of love and sacrifice.

Amid the chaos of current events, I made a conscious decision to transition from dark, politically charged oil paintings on linen to vibrant, playful works on smaller wood panels. This shift not only reflects my desire to evoke joy but also illustrates the importance of laughter during serious times. Each wooden panel is meticulously grounded with pearl paint, creating a delicate lace-like frame around the artwork. In a world often overshadowed by turmoil, my goal is to bring smiles and light through beautiful, humorous expressions.
