Despina paints the light and shadow of the human soul and the beauty of the world and she is greatly inspired by nature and the people she meets.
She loves nature and get often her inspiration from flowers, animals and the places she visits.
an important part of her artworks are reflections of the invisible world, which carry elements of personal and collective mythology, seen through the mirror of the imagination.
She comes from Greece and lives in Sweden (Gothenburg/Lysvik) with her Swedish husband since 6 years. Her great passions in life are painting, picking mushrooms and going to loppis!
