Aya Askert
Stockholm
Aya Askert is a multidisciplinary artist who creates sculptures, assemblages, and installations . She also conveys her creative expression through poetry and draws inspiration from nature and life experiences. Aya’s art is a juxtaposition of whimsical and poetic elements.
Her latest project, FLUTTER, is a collection of poems in diverse poetic styles depicting the themes of love, nature and self-healing. Through her words, you’ll be able to take a peek at her multifaceted skill in writing and feel her genuine persona. Her poem Tomorrow has been published in an international anthology.
Aya embraces her constant transformations - the apparent reason why the butterfly is a major signum in her art. Just like a butterfly, Aya flutters a persistent, pivotal metamorphosis.
