Alex Colard föddes i Frankrike, flyttade till New York när han var tjugo år gammal. Han studerade vid Parsons The New School, arbetade inom konst och arkitektur i elva år.Han flyttade till Stockholm 2017 och bestämde sig för att det var dags att bli professionell konstnär.
Barnbarnet till den franska skulptören Lucien Colard, som genetiskt förmedlade uppskattningen och förståelsen av konst till Alex och i en tidig ålder, och lärde honom rittekniker.
Efter Formal Art School i Frankrike flyttade han till New York 2005, vid 20 års ålder, där han fortsatte att studera konst och arkitektur. Han arbetade där i elva år som arkitektdesigner och konstnär, skapade konstavdelningen på Goldsmith-skyltdockor, ställde ut och sålde sitt arbete i utställningsrummet, där prestigefyllda kunder som Macy's, Bloomingdales, H&M etc ... kom för att handla.
Han flyttade till Stockholm i april 2017, skapade sin verksamhet, tillverkade och säljer sin konst. Sedan dess hade han arton utställningar i gallerier, restauranger, frisersalonger, butiker, evenemang. Han samarbetade med Hewlett Packard i december 2018 för att trycka på begäran i The Lobby Store, sålde olika typer av konstverk, allt från Fine Art Giclée-tryck, till original, och uppdrag.
