Metaphors of sleep can be found anywhere on this planet: the eternaln sleep of death, the continuous sleep of the body and mind sometimes while being in a coma, the sleep of a fetus in the womb, the sleep state of everyone while the mind is living a computer simulated reality, the numbness of drug abuse and all abuses that put to sleep areas of our mind we want to avoid, and so on.
