JUAN MERLO
Lomma
Mitt konstnärskap har vuxit fram ur en livslång nyfikenhet på färg, form och inre rörelse. Även om jag inte har en formell konstnärlig utbildning, har jag under många år fördjupat mig i måleriet genom kurser och handledning hos flera etablerade konstnärer. Parallellt med mitt yrkesliv som professor inom samhällsmedicin har konsten alltid varit en personlig och kreativ frizon.
Jag arbetar främst i blandteknik, där jag förenar akryl, akvarell, collage och tusch. Mina motiv rör sig ofta mellan det organiska och det symboliska – fjärilar, insekter, blommor och änglar återkommer som uttryck för transformation, skörhet och styrka.
Inspiration hämtar jag både från naturen och från människans inre landskap. Varje verk är en utforskning av balans och rörelse – ibland harmonisk, ibland konfliktfylld – men alltid med ett sökande efter något som rör sig bortom det synliga.
