Patrick Jakobsson, född 1974 på Södermalm i Stockholm, är en mångsidig konstnär med starka rötter i den svenska huvudstaden. Han växte upp i Akalla men har spenderat otroligt mycket tid på Kastellholmen där hans mormor bodde. Det gav Patrick möjligheten att tillbringa ofantligt många timmar och helger på Moderna Museets konst/målarverkstad. Patrick har alltid inspirerats av personerna i hans omgivning som även har uppmuntrat honom till att skapa konst och kreativa inslag. Detta tidiga engagemang i konsten har präglat honom genom hela livet och sedan 1993 har Patrick arbetat med digital design i form av branding & digital visuell design.
Patrick Jakobsson signerar sina målningar med initialerna "KLC," vilket är baserat på hans asiatiska namn, Kim Leong Choong. Denna signatur bär med sig en kulturell betydelse och är en påminnelse om hans asiatiska arv. Genom att använda denna signatur visar han stolthet över sin bakgrund och skapar en personlig koppling mellan sitt konstnärliga uttryck och sitt ursprung. Det ger också betraktaren en inblick i den konstnär bakom verken och den mångfaldiga källan till hans inspiration.
