In creating this piece, I poured my passion for nature's untamed spirit into every brushstroke, capturing the intimate bond between human and animal. The woman's serene expression and the resting leopard symbolize inner peace and raw strength, infused with the golden warmth of blooming sunflowers. My vision was to evoke a sense of wild freedom and connection to the earth, empowering viewers to embrace their unique essence. This artwork will radiate a transformative energy, fostering a space of inspiration and fearless self-expression in your home.

Magdalena Borkowska was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland, and is currently living in Stockholm, Sweden. Her journey with art began on a beautiful, gray, and cloudy autumn day when she was a teenager. While walking down the streets of Warsaw, a painting hanging in an art gallery window caught her attention. The painting profoundly affected her, and she realized that art would be her lifelong love and passion. In abstract art, she found her home and the perfect way to express her imaginary spheres. This artistic space is filled with life, vivid colors, and openness to explore the unknown. Her curiosity and hunger for new experiences drive her to discover and experiment with different media, styles, tools, and techniques, but oil will always be her primary choice. Despite abstracts being her world, it doesn't prevent her from exploring and painting portraits and animals, using her unique style of expression where the unrealistic sphere is always alive in the back of her mind.

In 1997, she returned to Warsaw to study at the Academy of Fine Arts, and in 1998, she studied under the supervision of adjunct professor Wlodzimierz Szymanski at the Academy.

Over the years, she educated herself and took several courses in psychological subjects to understand the human mind and explore the mysteries within. During this period, art was more of a hobby, but the memory of the painting in the gallery window remained alive. It wasn't until 2010 when she chose to completely focus on art. Since that decision, she has had several successful solo and group exhibitions. Her work is included in private collections throughout the country and beyond. She also studied photography, digital art, aesthetic communication, and graphic illustration to expand her knowledge and find new trails to explore.
