Att växa

Att växa (To grow) is an exploration of how it feels to break free from the past and to grow into something new and brighter. With an energetic stroke, Östberg is applying layer after layer of oil on canvas in this dynamic painting.

This piece measures 60 cm in width and 40 cm in height, and is mounted in a box frame witch adds 3 cm on each side of the painting. The frame measures 4 cm in depth.

Jimmy Östberg is a painter and furniture designer educated at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design.

For this piece, 50% of the price is credited the artist, 25% is donated to support the Loza Foundation’s work to end poverty and discrimination of Europe’s most vulnerable people, and 25% supports The Moar Gallery.
