Marlene is from the small town of Delsbo, in Hälsingland, and in her youth she was surrounded by beautiful greenery and lovely nature. She has always been interested in art and has painted and sketched since childhood. Nowadays, art has become a form of meditation in everyday life when she now lives in Tyresö, Stockholm.

"The viewer should experience the art as beutiful to look at and it should not feel stressful. She strives for beautiful shapes and colors in her art to create pleasure for the eye."
