I am originally from Mexico.
I paint in oil, in large format. I like the basic colors and their transitions.
I no longer seek to please anyone with my painting, I like to please my simple desire to paint, to express. My painting is abstract and chaotic. That chaos that leads to order. Or order that breaks into chaos.
I do not use brushes or spatulas. I use my fingers, broken plastics and tools that I make and find.
I like strength, change and movement, tranquility and peace. The beauty and the form. Spirals and symmetry.

I like red, it's cheerful, it's life, it's warm. Ruby is red. Color of blood and fire.
I like red when it meets yellow, which together give orange. A beautiful orange, also warm. Less strong, it is also life, it is profound joy.

Yellow is light, morning and sunset, it is still warm without burning and it is not strong. He's friendly, inviting, honest. It is gold.

The red and white. If it's redder than white, it's passion. Pink is warm, it is superb, it is striking, it is unusual, it is unique, it is rebellious. It takes a lot of poise to wear that pink. He is individualistic, extroverted and selfish.
If it is more white than red, everything changes. Pink becomes humble, luminous and trustworthy, like cherry blossom, it remains warm and becomes curious, innocent, beautiful.

I like the blues, azure, mayan blue, indigo blue. Blue is peaceful. It is eternal. It simply is.
Turquoise blue reminds me of the Caribbean Sea, rivers and waterfalls. Sapphire blue is great. Its brilliance makes it elegant, solid, precise.

When blue is mixed with white it becomes bright, fresh, young. If white and blue collide, it becomes movement: waves, wind, clouds, water.
Blue and yellow side by side are high contrast. Blue and yellow mixed together make green. Emerald color. Green is also life, it is value. Stop being totally cold and totally shy. They turn into a party, into music. Green tones are the color of plants, of Ireland, of Mexico, of Brazil.
The blue and red. They are distant colors that represent the opposite. When mixed they give some very interesting colors: violet, purple, lilac.
Those colors are not cold, they are not warm, they are friendly, they are peaceful, calm and pleasant. They are the color of sunset starting in light lilac and ending in almost nocturnal violet.
White is everything. It is light, it is purity, it is always.
