The color purple/violet is often among many things associated with, creativity, wisdom, peace, and independence. The color has a variety of effects on the mind and body, including uplifting spirits, and calming the mind and nerves.
With this art I attend to show a solid wall almost at a first eye cath. But when you look closer, you see a lot of lines that allmost looks like barriers with no end, but the color just makes them dissapear allmost, and the window shows you a way out.
there is many times in life where you can ask yourself a lot of questions with huge Why about them. But be calm, and look at the way out… There is allways a path so just keep on trying and stay calm.
Acrylic art at stretched canvas. Unframed, but can be framed if the buyer wants.

Artist Statement – Gustaf Tidholm
Jag skapar abstrakta målningar som utforskar balansen mellan spontanitet och stillhet, där färg och textur blir bärande element för att uttrycka en värld bortom det konkreta. Genom en intuitiv process och ett dynamiskt användande av akrylfärg, lager och verktyg, skapar jag verk som bjuder in till en känslomässig upplevelse – en plats där betraktaren kan finna både ro och energi.
Mitt konstnärskap rör sig inom abstrakt expressionism, men tar även intryck av naturens flyktiga landskap. Genom att låta färgen tala och leda vägen framstår varje målning som en reflektion av en inre resa, där färgerna kan antyda landskap, himmel eller horisont utan att definieras fullt ut. Detta ger varje verk en dubbel natur; de är både öppna för tolkning och samtidigt grundade i en känsla av plats och atmosfär.
Jag inspireras av konstnärer som Mark Rothko, Helen Frankenthaler och Gerhard Richter, vars arbete bygger broar mellan det inre och yttre. Min egen stil är ett resultat av en autodidakt process där livserfarenheter och behovet av skapande fått leda vägen. Att vara självlärd har gjort det möjligt för mig att utveckla en personlig och fri metod, där varje penseldrag och färgskiftning bidrar till en genuin och unik skapelse.
Mina målningar syftar inte till att problematisera eller berätta en specifik historia – istället vill jag skapa en plats för betraktaren att vila i färgens kraft och låta egna tankar och känslor få utrymme. Genom mina verk vill jag väcka en känsla av optimism och framtidstro, en påminnelse om att varje betraktelse är en chans att se något nytt och positivt.
Det är en demokratisk process där mina verk lever vidare genom betraktarens egna tolkningar, där dialogen mellan målningen och publiken är lika viktig som min intention vid skapandet. Mitt mål är att mina verk ska tillföra en tidlös estetisk upplevelse till varje rum de befinner sig i, en påminnelse om färgens och formens kraft att skapa mening och samband.
