I guess everything I paint is also a reflection of myself as the painter, the creator and the viewer. Even if I paint a lemon (I actually love doing this), it is partly a self portrait. It is my impression of a lemon, my expression and my temperament. So I will probably continue with more self portraits after this first ”Portrait of another self I - Burning Man”, since the idea is now planted and growing in the back of my mind. A freer way of looking at yourself and the different things that makes you you.
This painting will not be one of the artworks I will exhibit at the INTERNATIONAL ART EXHIBITION Coming Out at M.A.D.S. Art Gallery - @m.a.d.s.artgallery - in central Milan during June 25 - July 4, 2021. (Btw, thank you for your help with this @fra.contemporaryartcurator .)
Instead it sits on the wall in my art studio in Älta, Stockholm, Sweden, looking back at me like it was a mirror, reflecting a secret part of me that can not be seen as easily without this mirror.

Jag målar på allt. För att det ger mig energi både innan jag gör det, medans jag gör det och efter att det är klart.
Oftast målar jag med olja eller akryl, men ibland med annat eller i blandteknik.
Ofta målar jag ur fantasin, inte sällan grundat i intryck från ett liv i närheten av, på, i eller under vatten.
Mitt liv är mitt egentliga konstverk. Jag avser att fortsätta måla det verket med nyfikenhet, glädje och förundran så länge det bara går, utan att halka ner i för många gamla hjulspår.
Alla verk är unika och finns endast i ett exemplar.
