Jeanette Innala

Much of Innala´s work seeks to explore the deep resonating language of color. Working many times with the unpredictable and chance as an essential element in the creative process and allows her work to evolve organically.

Her unique expressive use of color and light has given her a personal signature which is central in every piece. Innala’s work clearly reflecting her deep fascination of hues and shades as she works with the most vibrant and rich mediums, to enhance their physical, emotional, and intuitive response. Her process gives her visuals an etheral look aswell as depth and a three-dimensional aspect. All by redefining the use of tools and techniques like traditional painting with digital technology and liquid glass.

Born in 1968 in Skellefteå in the North of Sweden, Innala flourished in a creative home environment where self-expression was encouraged. Her understanding of color, composition and texture can be traced back to her aesthetic father who introduced her early on to painting, sculpturing and metalwork.

Innala´s work is represented in private collections aswells as corporate clients in Scandinavia, across Europe as well as large collection at the Deji Art Museum in Nanjing. She also has a strong foundation of and works purchased by the state (Public Art Agency Sweden) purchasing committee for public environments.
