Eva‑Lotta Emilsdotter

My name is Eva-Lotta Emilsdotter and I live in Lerum just outside Gothenburg in Sweden. Painting in different mixed techniques but mainly watercolour is something I have done all my life. I am inspired by nature and music, but most of all in the meeting with other people.

I paint what I experience in everyday life. It can be a feeling or an event. That's why it's so fun to hear how others interpret the images. Has participated in a number of exhibitions and have hopes for more in the future.

The art education I have is from many different painting- and art courses, including Capellagården, Öland. Colour, shape and composition is something I really like and I think in shapes, the four basic colors and the balance in the picture when I paint.
