Emma Stüffe

Growing up surrounded by art and artists my passion for painting and expression through writing and poetry began at a young age.

My studies at HDK and Art College in Gothenburg refined my artistic skills shaping my love for art. At an early age, I became inspired by creative role models in my family, such as my late grandfather sculptor and artist Ivan Stüffe.

Characterized by a three-dimensional mindset, heavy textures, and dynamic movement my abstract art captures the essence of life events and personal experiences. Each painting is a visual journey born from my soul-searching and with my obsession for imperfect beauty.

Inspired by internal depths my work reflect acceptance and understanding of life experiences. Passion for color, sculpture and shapes infuses my creations. In my artistry I take pride in capturing emotions on canvas, narrating feelings through accompanying poetry. My paintings mirror a style dedicated to wabisabi, appearing calm and harmonious from a distance yet revealing drama and complexity up close.
