Artworks are created from dry flower petals, which are not cut or dyed. The artist celebrates the beauty of imperfection, the natural beauty. Elen Alien’s technology of drying flowers causes the brownish shade and dark spots of mold the petals acquire in the process. Different shades of natural colour are enough to create a volumable image, while the shape of the petals allows combining them together as a natural puzzle depicting an organic shape. It was the discovery that the artist has done in 2014, making sure once again that art is a type of magic. You have everything that you need around you.
