Katrin Derholm

Art and creativity have played a big role and have been with me all my life. Ever since I was little, I've loved to paint and create. I remember that all my notebooks at school were filled with little drawings from my imagination. Painting and being creative is a way for me to express my inner feelings and thoughts and a way to enjoy the present moment.

My paintings are often abstract realistic, semi-abstract or naivistic and aim to convey some kind of feeling. Inspiration comes from everyday encounters, conversations and events as well as nature and the city that surrounds me. I often paint on emotion where a story is often shaped during the process.

I work with different mediums such as acrylic, oil, watercolor, mixed media and often use light, strong or earthy colors with or without structure.

In 2023, I decided to start exhibiting my art and have participated in several exhibitions
I always have an open mind to new ideas and never stop developing. This will be an exciting and interesting journey that I am looking forward to share with you.

I sell all my artworks and accept orders. Also rents out paintings and sell to companies.

Payment method is via Swish or invoice. Shipping costs are added if necessary
