Grace Svensson

Grace Svensson is a self-taught artist who discovered her passion for painting on the lowest point of her life as a mother--when she was diagnosed with depression. It can be seen through her arts that it uses vivid colors and structures because this artist is a graduate of BS Architecture in the Philippines. Being open to different art forms has given her a broad perspective of arts allowing her to mix painting and architecture together to create new style and unique works of art. She has been in Sweden for almost 20 years and has conducted many solo art exhibitions including an art fair with Van Gogh Art Gallery in an International Contemporary Art Fair in Innsbruck Austria in 2021. Working in acrylic and oil, she uses vivid colors to capture the attention of her audience.

Her artworks usually is about motherhood, woman empowerment and life as a whole. She says that through her artworks she finds peace and its serves as her theraphy as well. This artist hopes her paintings give people a feeling of optimism and love through her bright, vivid colors and form.

Utbildning
A passionate artist with BS Architecture degree in the Philippines now living and seeking for opportunities in Sweden. As one of the founding member's of FAAS (Filipino Artist's Association of Sweden) in April 2018, participated in one collaborative exhibit held at Stockholm's Galleri Belman last Sept 14-20, 2018 reflecting artistic philosophy, personality and celebration of creative ways Filipinos can and have expressed themselves. It was featured in "Roots & Wings", a Filipino magazine in Sweden in October 2018.
